They actually pop up pretty often, you just need to be looking constantly and when they come up, don't worry about the price, just buy 'em. If you check this forum, craigslist and offerup daily you'll find a set in not too long.

Thanks clenkeit, I’ll keep my eyes open. We did see them on OfferUp but they guy wouldn’t respond and now it’s off. More than likely someone purchased them.

Yeah, they go quickly. I keep an eye out for deal on this as I’d love to have another set or be able to get a matching spare. I always favorite them when I see them for sale at any price and usually they sell in a few days, rarely more than a week.
There’s a very overpriced set of grey ones down in SD right now. Black is probably the color I see least often.

    I don't get it.
Why does no one buy new at dealership? Do they not sell it anymore?

And why pick a 16" wheel to limit yourself to stock small brakes and not allowing you to upgrade to larger 4runner calipers (requires 17") on a bigger wheel that has more tire choices?

We would be buying them new, from the dealer, if we could. And as I did a year and a half ago. These are somewhere between "discontinued" and just "unavailable". Some dealers say they're discontinued and can't get them. There have been reports that a few are left in stock at random dealers. But, there's also been a change or a tightening of rules and most dealers won't let you buy without a VIN from a Baja/Pro/FJ that would have come with these stock. I wish it was easy enough to just walk in and buy these, but it's not.

Many of us don't need larger brakes. Many of us have plenty of great tire size in 16". Many of us prefer more tire and less wheel. Many of us feel these are some of the best looking wheels available for these trucks and they're also a great combination of style and OEM quality when compared to the aftermarket options.

Couldn’t have said it better myself clenkeit, standing ovation (clap, clap, clap). I would much rather walk in and purchase them at a dealership if I could as clenkeit put it, but yes, I have come across the same issues with every place I have looked. Another reason for me is that my husband likes these and wants this particular look on his Tacoma. Me being me, I just want him to be happy with getting this one simple pleasure without him knowing I’m on the hunt for them. He’s made a lot of sacrifices for the family since the start of COVID and I’m so thankful we have a solid partnership built on friendship that has overcome some heartbreaking times this past year. So, if this means I’m looking on 12 different platforms, creating accounts to forums, and leaving notes on truck windows to get these particular wheels.. so be it. He’s worth it.

Thank you Roland, it says “out of stock”. I put an alert on it so if they get more I’ll be notified and sent the seller an email.

I've been on a lookout for these wheels as well. I actually ordered a set about a month ago but eventually was refunded as they were out of stock even though their website said they had them. The dealership was told from Toyota headquarters to specifically tell me to check back in September, I ask the salesman to elaborate more on that and they couldn't give me anything more. I also notice some dealership selling them online states that the wheels will not be available til mid September. Hope this helps and good luck.

    Beautiful rims.....

Were these ever available in 17" ?

Also, I saw a note on the ebay listing that said the stock 40 degree TPMS from stock wheels will not work on these and 20 degree sensors will need to be sourced separately ?

Anyone can elaborate, especially which sensor is in stock 2017 Sport rims ?

Only in 16s but there is the a similar version TRD Rock Warriors which was for the Tundra that came in 17s. As for the TPMS, as long as you have alloy wheels and not steel wheels, your TPMS should work but you will need different lug nuts.
