Which tires are the longest lasting, best performing and for the best value on our trucks? Looking around most of the tires below have treadwear warranties of 50-60k. Do any of these meet or exceed that on our trucks? Thamls

Way too many variables to give you one answer. However, I've had good luck with cooper AT3 and Nitto Terra Grapplers.

    Are floor mats a mod?
General AT2s with almost 60 thou on em. Getting a bit hard now, but lots of tread left. Good on dry. Pretty good on wet. Good in snow. Ok on ice ( siped) great off-road on rocks, dirt, sand, glop. Going to,run them till February, then replace with E rated. Either same or BFG KO 2s. Note. I rotate EVERY 10k miles.

My KO's lasted 100k miles, but got very hard and slippery the last 20k. My current Duratracs are done at 50k miles, very unsafe in the wet and didn't wear as good or evenly. Both in 265-75-16

A general rule on tires is a longer mileage tires are made of a harder compound. A harder tire is less sticky. Also the temp of the road for the intended use also comes into play. So a snow tire wont be a good choice for someone in an Arizona desert. Your tires will melt in the summer sun. Mileage of a tire shouldn't be your only factor when buying tires. YMMV.

Didn't think the OEM Dunlop's were AT tires or had treadwear warranties.

Would an AT tire with kevlar or silica in the compound mitigate the hardness in cold weather or high miles?

The Kevlar has no impact on the tread patch as is typically used only in the body plies and will never actually be contacting the pavement unless the tire fails or you run them beyond bald. Silica is supposed to help with longevity, but I don't think it makes the tire any "softer".

It really is going to be a compromise. You can't have an infinite tread life and excellent handling the entire time. That being said, I had over 70k miles on a set of Destination ATs and the biggest wear related issue was how loud they got toward the end.
