I’ve been searching but not finding anything. Hood is lower in front than the fenders, but stops are screwed up as far as they will go. Does anyone know of a longer or taller stop and the part number that will work and fix this for me? Thanks in advance.

Hers an option possibly…. Mine was similar with another issue (Toyota fixed) but my fenders were not adjusted properly. Check fender alignment maybe…..

Also if it’s under warranty ask Toyota to fix it could be a simple fix. Not sure how bad it is without pics.

Thanks. That’s a good idea. It still is under warranty. Here’s a picture of how much it is off.

I found a lot of little alignment issues. My dealer fixed them pretty well. But my hood is still a little low like yours.

Here’s mine. I also had a gap that drove me nuts. They made it better.

better not perfect but they called Toyota Corporate and got the go ahead to fix.

I went to Lowes and bought some of the rubber caps you would put on chair legs so the legs would't slid on the floor. After placing them over to rubber hood stops on the truck, I was able to adjust the hood to my liking.

I know. I didn’t even notice it until I put a bug deflector on it and slowly closed the hood to check it’s fit. It won’t work because it’s wanting to push down on the headlight. I’m glad I checked and didn’t just drop the hood shut.

Yours looks like it’s pretty close to how mine is on your passenger side. I’ll have to see what the dealer has to say next time I’m there. Thanks for the help.

I think I will try that out this weekend. It’s worth a shot and would be an easy fix for me. Thanks for the help.

You’ll want it perfect and Toyota will give it a try(dealership dependent) an expensive solution is try a good body shop. Good luck and don’t sweat the little thing

i bet its not too low its to far forward, i caused the same problem when i mounted hood ditch lights. i retightened the hood a bit to forward and it started touching the headlights an it made it look look like it sat low in the front.
