Is there a fix for leaving one key fob in the vehicle while it’s running, and getting out and locking the truck with the other key fob? (And yes I kno you can roll the window down get out, reach in lock the truck and then auto window up, or use the actually key in the fob manually)

I can't answer your question, but I'm curious why you would want to do this.

Well it’s just the fact that if it’s 110 outside and I have my dog in the truck with the ac on, abd I want to run inside a parts store or any store I can leave it running with an easy option of locking it up to keep thieves from opening the door and getting bit by my dog lol

    No.

There's no easy solution for leaving the truck in "dog mode."

Does it not lock with the second key fob?

Maybe if it’s 110 outside and your going to the store, leave the dog at home in the AC?

It violates two rules of the almighty fob.

You can't lock from the outside with the engine running, and you can't lock from the outside if there's an active key inside.

Ah ok, does the key fob have a hidden key init you can manually lock the door from outside?

Dog in the cab discussion aside, remote start is the solution.

I can't try it on mine right now because my truck is in for deer hit repair.
I often leave my spare with my house keys in the the truck when I go into a store.
To lock the truck I hit the fob twice in a row.
I don't know if that will work with it running. Never tried.
How about disabling the fob left in the vehicle? Would that work.
