Loating which tire pressure sensor is bad.

My tire pressure sensor light on the dash of my 2006 Tacoma TRD Sport blinks continuously. My Toyota dealer says I have a bad sensor in one of my wheels.They want over $200 dollars to repair it. I want to fix it myself.How do I find which sensor is bad?

 

if it blinks either the pressure is over 50psi or you have a bad sensor. new sensors from toyota are bout 110ish from a dealer and then you have dismount the tire and then program the new sensor

 

First make sure all 5 tires are within 5psi of each other, (early 2nd gens have a sensor in the spare) then hold the reset button on the dash under the steering wheel down for like 5 sec. IIRC. Not sure of time so check owners man.

If that doesn't fix it, you can go to just about any tire store and get the sensors read and tell you which one is bad.

I know the store I go to sells sensors for about 50 bucks apiece and 20 to install.
