So went to line x today. For front and rear bumpers plus all 4 fender flares he quoted me 300. I thought that was a fair price but not too sure.

So my door panels on the interior are peeling. Said he would do them for free if I got all the fenders and bumpers done. Not sure how Id like line x on the interior but it would definitely be a whole lot stronger. What are your guys thoughts? If eventually I hate it I could get new panels. They look like crap right now.

This. Lots of linex fans here, but I agree Monsta is a better way to go, especially for the DIYr, as it can be sprayed at home. Not having those tacky rubber chips in it that the other products do gives a nicer texture and feel.

I'm not saying Linex is bad. Or the warranty is bad. But the reason for the price is just like any other farmed out work. Prep, material and application.

Do your own prep and application and save a ton with Monsta liner.

My truck is too new to 'need' it. But when my black base bumpers get looking rough, I'll be doing them in black Monsta, or maybe white if it is a close match. Same when the rockers start to get beat. White Monsta on the white truck, nice blend, lots 'o protection.

Not affiliated etc. etc. Just trying to let folks know there is a bigger liner world out there. :)

And for those interior questions, look at their website. I've even seen some local street/track dual duty cars with stripped interiors and hidden wiring done in Monsta, and it looks sharp, wears well.

Nice gallery of vehicles, lots of reading. If you don't find fiberglass specifically mentioned, contact them and ask.

But I'd bet it works fine.

The Line-X spray in the bed of my 1st gen faded to an ugly black so I experimented around with different products and found that McGuire's Tire Black worked pretty well, Just spray it on and it shines it right up and stays that was for 3 or 4 months before having to spray it again. And thats through wet Oregon winters and running it through the car washes and so on.

Anybody here have any issues with rust after using Line X or similar products on their truck body? I live in Hawaii and was wondering what the effect would be with the salt and rust corrosion

to be honest, they looks awful in my opinion. like a sand paper, or a poorly done plastic dip job.
