I have been looking at a lot of people doing this to Jeeps and trucks but have not seen a Tacoma in Line-X. Does anyone have a Tacoma done in Line-X?

I'm wondering if the color holds up? I've read that the rhino liner will fade, the line-x seems to be what everyone is using. I'll look around for the red Tacoma

Wow that looks badass. How much did it cost? I'm seeing all kinds of different figures. Someone even said that if you use your truck as a rolling billboard they will knock down the price

    Fucking look it up
I like the idea how does the paint hold up to scratches and what not from off roading? Or is the finish as rugged as their bed liners

From what Im reading they use a softer coat for the full truck and a thicker coat for the bed. I'm definitely going to call line-x and get a quote. My Tacoma is dessert sand mica. I hate the color...

My guess would be north of $2500

How do you do any body repairs after it's been lined?

Also bet there'd be a mpg drop from wind resistance.

Kinda cool, although I find it a little excessive.

Ok just got off the phone with them and they said for anything other then black for a Tacoma I should expect to pay around $4k. And if I go black to knock off $400-$600 bucks

Wow, $4k seems steep. That first jeep pic looks pretty bad ass though.

weird I was just thinking about a line x paint job today. I wouldn't do black since It starts to look tacky. Look up monstaliner. I did a whole jeep in that and it was amazing. By far the best bed liner product and there are tons of photos of trucks and jeeps on their web page. I won't do this until my paint is absolute crap and Its a primary trail rig like my jeep was.

Take a look. I wouldn't fear doing it yourself this product goes on perfect and is hard to f up. Tons of colors too.

How does it hold up to fading from the sun?

    A few things
I just got my all pro bumper line-x'd. They told me that it WILL fade to a dull black.

Wish I had some better photos but here are my All Pro front and rear bumpers both coated with Line-x. Ill try to answer a couple questions in the thread. 1. Due to the fact that Line-x is a franchise they only will let there employees spray your items, in this cases bumpers. You can't go out and buy Line-x and put it on yourself like Rhino Liner. This makes the price pretty steep, although I believe they warranty everything they spray. 2. You can pay $80-$100 more on top of the base price they'll quote you to get the UV protected coating that won't fade. I have this on both my bumpers and they are both the same color even though the rear bumper was put on almost a year earlier than the front. 3. When it comes to scratching and strength line-x holds up to all of it, I've rubbed my bumpers up against plenty of trees and rocks and have had them on miles of countless tight trails with no scratching what so ever. The only issue I've had is it rubbing off over time in certain areas where it is constantly being drug up or down rocks (mostly just a couple spots on the under side of the rear bumper) Hope this helps!

Yeah the price they quoted me to paint my Tacoma in linex included the UV protection.
