    Gents-

Its going to be a bit before my stock tired wear out, but I am wondering if anyone has found any light weight aftermarket wheels in the noted sizes? I am planning to go a bit narrower and maybe a bit taller tires. Likely Michelin LTX in 245-255 width and a 70 or 75 cross section.

Goal for this is to go for the best fuel econ I can get while still keeping good on-road commuting and hauling capabilities. I will keep my stock sport rims and get dedicated winter tires. I have a classic Jeep with gnarly STT Pros for fun offroad....so I am not looking for wide and heavy A/Ts like most do.

It seems that most aftermarket 17" rims are 8" wide or more....which is why I am looking for advice. 8" is a bit wide for 245 or 255 tires.

What are your narrow wheel set-ups? Prefer 17" over 16" so I can keep aspect ratio to 75 or below.

Thanks for the reply. I have seen those and like the overall design. One thing that bothers me about them is the colors in combination with my MGM truck. I'm not too in to black wheels, and the grey seems like it will make my entire vehicle to monotonic. I'm really digging some of the dark bronze wheels, but they are both too wide and have fucked up wheel offset which pushes the wheels out of the wheel wells and screw up scrub radius (why do manufacturers do this)!

At this point I am leaning towards stock take offs of some variety (4runner, tacoma gen 2 and 3 etc) and looking in to powder coating. Was just hoping there was an obscure aftermarket option that I hadn't found.

Anyone ever powdercoated or painted stockers? Examples?

I really like the Konig Countersteer X in mat bronze, but again, the offset is like 2" from stock and they are 8" wide. I guess a "Bro" appearance of a wide stance trumps performance!

Look at FN Wheels, they offer a few lightweight options.

Yeah, the gray TRD Pros would be what I would go with. I agree, they look better than the black wheels! If I had any other color than MGM, they would be a hands down winner. Might end up still going this route.

Reason I am looking for 17s over 16s is mostly because I don't want to go to a 75+ series sidewall due to flex on-road. Plus, so many are load range E!

    Thanks for the opinions!

All 8+ inches wide and bad offset. Agree, they are nice wheels though. Love the matte bronze.

I think the six spoke FJ TRD wheels in silver look good on MGM. They are 7.5" wide.
