Lights mounted to factory roof rack

Has anyone attempted to mount some LED work/scene lights to the factory roof rack? I would love to have additional lighting at nights when working on projects or towing.

I was looking at something like this for the side lighting, but I am not sure how I would manage to handle the rear lighting.

Would it be better to go with a aftermarket roof rack?

In the long run the rack will offer you a lot of flexibility. Gear, Kayaks, Bikes, Xmas Tree

That being said if you only want lighting, and you carry nothing up there, then finding something up there to mount it to would make since.

Another option is the Baja Designs S2 with their Work Scene lens setup.
