Anyone know of a light front bumper that doesn’t look like a total monstrosity like the disaster ARB makes for our trucks. Something that sits close to the headlights. Sort of like the ones for 80 series landcruisers. Trying to find something that looks halfway decent on my 4 cylinder access cab. Yes, I already know 4 cylinders are slow and this will make it slower.

I’ve got an aluminum stump bumper weighing at 45 pounds. Love it.

[IMG] Victory Strike from Victory 4x4. 47 pounds in aluminum. 20 Benjamins powder coated not including delivery. If I was starting from scratch I would go with this one all day long. I'm coming up on 90,000 miles and I know that isn't anything to sweat. Do I want to spent 2,600 in beer money when I have a perfectly functional bumper that I can actually push some debris to the side with? Anyways, I guess I could sell a mountain bike. Good talk.

Does anyone have information about front bumpers that are winch capable without ANY cutting?

Go with aluminum and you’ll be fine. I wouldn’t shop for the lightest, because it is likely also the weakest, because I’m guessing they are all made from the same or similar alloy. No bumper is going to make your truck noticeably slower because of its weight

I know it isn’t as desirable as a bumper but a front hitch receiver works for me. I didn’t like the idea of the extra weight of the bumper and winch on my DD for my once a month off road activities (once a month is wishful thinking unfortunately). I didn’t weigh it before I put it on but I’m sure it’s lighter than most bumpers and definitely lighter without the winch, but I have it when I need it.

Does the winch hook up to the rear hitch also? That would be sweet!
