My lightbar switch says it’s off but the bar itself still turns on and starts blinkering while the switch says off. I was washing my truck right now and out of nowhere noticed my bar was turned on not to it’s full power but just a very dim light enough to notice that it’s on. And check the switch button and it’s says off but slowly turns on it’s own. Maybe it’s a shortage?? Some help is really appreciated right now thanks

It’d help if you explained how you wired it

If Possible, unplug the switch to see if the light bar turns off complete. That should help you eliminate a bad switch.

It’s weird I’ve had my bar for almost 3yrs and it’s never happens before and neither during washing my truck. I just moved a few wires and it seemed to stop flashing and turning on it’s own maybe it was the water ..

Well first off I wouldn’t recommend putting two wires in the same connector

Actually, it might be ok. What is the other wire running to? The switch? I know sometimes when you’re running stacked connections you can get some electrical interference, but that was running a light bar with a cb radio on.

I am going to guess the relay is in the engine bay and not waterproof. Remove the relay from the harness and open it up. It probably has buildup on the contacts.

This is the other wire that’s connected the other two red ones are to the battery. I’m not sure maybe the connection was dirty or wasn’t plugged in correctly but it seemed to work once i disconnected them and reconnected

That wasn’t the one I was talking about, did the light bar come with a wiring diagram? One of those wires might have supposed to have been run to a switched fuse

Check the relay for water inside of it. I drove my truck in a snowstorm and my led bar started flickering on and off. I had to pull the fuse to get it to stop. The relay was full of water after snow had collected on the hood, melted, and seeped onto the light bar harness.
