Noticed the other night when I tried to turn my Diode Dynamic SS3 pods on that there was a slight delay from the time I turned on the switch to the time that the lights illuminated. Played with it a little bit and there were several instances where I would turn on the lights and they would hesitate over 5 seconds to turn on or never turn on at all.

I started messing with my ditch lights (from harbor freight/tractor supply) and they had the same problem but they each turned on st different delays rather than together.

Both are wired with Diode Dynamics harnesses.

*Note 1 - it is super dusty where I live

*Note 2 - when the lights turn on for my DD pods I can hear the relay switch

*Note 3 - I’ve had these lights installed for ~ 2 years and this is the first time I’ve noticed an issue.

anyone have any similar experiences/ suggestions?

I would assume corroded contacts somewhere in the circuit. If you have several of the same relay, or a spare thats unused, try swapping this one out and see if the problem persists
