Light above wireless charger

Hi everyone! I just bought my taco a few weeks ago, and this is my first post.

When I’m driving at night, I hate extraneous light inside the cab. So how the heck do I turn off the little light above the wireless charging pad? Am I missing something super easy, like a hidden switch?

New cars have all sorts of extraneous lights, noises and safety features. Some are useful, most are pretty annoying. Get used to it.

I feel the same way. I’m going to cover it with tape as suggested

 

you could turn down the lights on the dashboard. I believe that controls that light too and also dims that. I like mine at the dimmest setting

 

Take it you have experience with VW's...

 

I’d like to figure out a way to dim the Entune screen.

 

Thanks gang. I figured I’d have to just tape over it, but hoped there was a more elegant solution I was missing.

 

I'm glad you asked. This is super annoying and even dimming the interiors isn't enough. I guess I'll tape mine too until someone figures out a better fix.

 

This is the first light I noticed that annoys the hell out of me.... it reflects off my phone screen and onto the rear windows. and then I see it glaring at me from the rearview mirror

 

That's exactly the issue for sure.

does any one know to get to the light want to change it out with blue led. all my other light are blue led so the white looks dumb. thanks

Does anyone know if there is a red replacement bulb/LED for wgatever that light is? I feel like it wouldn't be so terrible if I could swap ot for a softer color.
