I like it. Just right for what I'm looking for. I'm just questioning if I want the AAl or HS 3 leaf for towing/hauling.

Headstrong told me to go with the heavy AAL's cause I'm hauling heavy loads sometimes.

A buddy told me he bent straight his single aal hauling his boat. So the 3 leaf with overload sounds more like I want to try before splurging on the dakars.

Ill see how the heavy one handles the loads I can always switch to three pack later.

It is always hard to say exactly how much lift you will gain from any one coil because so many factors come into play like condition of the factory components, trim of truck, and any add-ons or additional options you may have. The lift gained from a coil spring is a variable rate and can be directly affected by the overall weight of the vehicle. The op has an access cab and on average they can see around 1/4"-1/2" more lift from the coils then what is spec'd out. When the additional up front weight would be added that can offset the gain of lift seen from the cab size. There is always a settling period on the coils so the measurements taken right after the lift is installed will calm down with driving. This usually gives people the excuse to plan an off-road trip. ;)

I would just return the front spring for the 884 or 885. Or do what I did with the original spring.

After you add your upfront weight you may want to go back to the coils. Totally up to you though. If you do they will settle in as you use them.
