Just as a title says. I keep getting the run around at local dealers. Anyone know of an easy site that lists parts and diagrams for ARE Camper Shells. My google skills have failed me or I just get some basic stuff like locks.

    TIA!

Try these guys too, I got a couple of seals from them relatively cheap:
    https://www.custompickup.com

There is some crossover in parts such as seals and stuff but finding some of the manufacturer specific parts is like looking for a needle in a haystack. If you call ARE be sure that you have the serial number for your shell, it should be on a small plaque that's riveted in the upper rear left side. Just a warning, ARE wants a fortune for parts and usually will just tell you to go to one of their dealers.

unfortunately (my local) the dealer thinks he's dealing in plutonium or heavy water and the world is waiting with baited breath for his attention.

I understand how jaded retail sales can make someone, but when they lose track of trying to encourage customers it's very sad.

What is it that you're looking for? I've been looking for some window seals (ARE CX on my truck) so I've run across other parts in my searching.

ARE CX on my truck, I need more screws that hole the windoors in the frame. New bottom tailgate window seal

Specifically that whole portion. That is attached to the window itself.

This is the rubber T-strip that slides into the bottom of the rear window- https://www.custompickup.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=3459
I found a similar version that was a bit cheaper but it was only 1", this one is 1 3/4" so better protection. Be sure to cut it longer than you'd think because it will shrink a bit over time.

This is the bulb seal that goes around the window, notice it has a flat T section that slides into the track unlike some of the others that are more arrow shaped- https://www.custompickup.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2399
It's not the best quality in my opinion and it flattens out after about a year. It also shrinks a little so cut it longer.

I haven't found the hard plastic piece that goes on the bottom of the rear window. I've thought about just drilling out the rivets and making a replacement piece out of Kydex but I don't know how well it will hold up in the sun. Right now I've used some epoxy on mine where it's cracked.

Make sure that your bed sides aren't shifting, you may need bed stiffeners depending on how much weight you carry (I added some). You can also loosen the two screws (one in either end) of the hinge and shift the window if needed to get it aligned.

I haven't found the screws yet but I need to pull my windows and rebuild them, the plastic channel liners are dried and starting to come out of the tracks. I've also got some leakage in heavy rains from the felt being compressed. Be sure to periodically check the drains along the bottom edges of the window channels so that they can drain.

Ever have any luck on replacing that hard plastic piece on the bottom of the rear window? Mine is broken on my ARE as well.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but in case someone else is in this situation...

The long plastic skirt piece along the bottom of the rear window broke on mine. I tried black duct tape for a while and even tried to make a piece out of aluminum. I eventually gave up and ordered the part from a local ARE dealer. It was ridiculously expensive for what it is (around $100), but it worked perfectly. Just had to drill out some rivets and install some new ones.

Sorry I just saw this question. I bought a square of ABS plastic off Amazon (the thinner stuff, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004UBUX5C?ie=UTF8&th=1), prepped the back of the tailgate piece by cleaning and scuffing it, cut a section of the ABS panel to the size I wanted then glued it on with some ABS cement (ex. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Oatey-4-oz-Medium-Black-ABS-Cement-309993/100136815) and clamped it until it dried. You can't see it unless you look up at it or are opening the window so I really don't care about that but the crack is visible unless you do something about it. On the outside part that's visible I used a smallish round bur bit on my Dremel to bevel it and tried some of that plastic welder but that didn't last long at all so I cleaned it out and put some ABS cement in the crack. I just noticed it was cracked the other day so I cleaned it out with the Dremel and put some more on. Kinda ghetto but it works well enough and it's cheap.

Side note, if you do decide to put something in the visible side crack use a strap to hold the window level or it'll run. Not that I would ever do that first... :homer:
