Is there a reason why the Level 8 MK6 wheels are so cheap? $460 for set of 17x8. They are half or the price of other popular wheels! I'm thinking about a grey set on my 18 BBP DCSB with Falken tires. Love the classic simple design! It's hard to believe that a new set with tires m&b is less than $1200

So does anyone know of any issues with this wheel?

    Great question!

We ordered select MK6 SKU's at a special rate (over stock) and are simply passing the savings on to our customers

I've been running these MK6 wheels for over a year and they are great. Order yourself up some wheels.

I also have BBP as well. 18 DCSB Sport. They look fantastic!

Those appear to 17". What offset are you running? Tire specs? Lift?

    Perfect stance!

They are the 17x9 -12 offset.

I have run 18x9 on a different truck in the MK6 and never had a problem.

I think my tires are a little small but never had a problem with the wheels. They clean up easy and look sharp.

Edit: tires are 265/70 17 Cooper ST Maxx

The lift is 3/2" ReadyLift installed by my Toyota dealer. No problems with that either.

How much did Toyota charge for that?
How did it change the ride.

Ride quality was unchanged. Install includes the kit, new needle bearing and alignment. $950 plus tax.

Lots of people running these without issues, don't hesitate if they're what you want to buy. Lots of other cast wheels out there that are more expensive simply due to popularity.

If you buy the 16s with Falkens AT3W SL you can get 33s m&b for under 1k with DTDs typical black friday deals.

    Too few to list.
I've had my MK6 for about 3 years now and zero issues with them and got them through DT. They are well made. The finish on them are actually better than the popular 5 spoke star wheels that are sold here for more $$$.

20170623_204403.jpg Only thing cheap about these wheels is the price. 16x8 on my truck for around one year. No issues at all. Can't go wrong with these wheels.

Did you have to buy the wheel install kit, with new lugs? Or did the OE lugs work ok?

A few mods here and there and counting....
Great wheels at a killer price. You'll need ET lugs. Had mine for about 6 months now. Not a single issue and looks great.

This thread tipped it for me. Thanks all. I can't decide what would look better with Quicksand; Matte Black, Gun Metal, or Bronze. Love to hear (or see) what folks think!
