    no sir, I don't think what I'm experiencing is axle wrap...and a/c from what I've noticed doesn't matter. it's starting and stopping, when all this is happening. daily driving

    Valve bodies are calibrated according to the year of your truck and the size of motor and wether its 4x4 or 2 wheel drive . Small changes are made within the calibration of the valve body from year to year . If your mechanic gave them all the correct information , you should have the factory valve body in your truck now with the latest calibration . You have a 2011 truck . Its possible you may have a 2013 /2014 valve body now . Did level 10 recalibrate the new valve body ?

    to be honest with you, i don't know. I've gotten in contact with them, and there supposed to be running my issue by their engineers… so are you saying if I've got anything other than a 2011 valve body, my truck will not run properly unless (level 10) made the correct calibrations…? would it also need to be calibrated for the specific modifications I've done and or horsepower? i will definatley be asking! these are the kinda things i need to know, thank you

    i was told i could take it by any transmission shop and they can hook it up to a computer or something that will tell me if its working properly…? $100 give or take? is this true?

    weve come to the conclusion that it is my transmission/vb... so were gonna drop the one in it, remove the clips that hold the solenoids off the modified one, put them on original v/b, put it back in snd see if my issues go away. if they do, we know its a bad vb and will be contacting level 10 to see what our next move is... cant say for certain at this point if its a bad modify job, but thats what its looking like. hopefully we can get em swspped in the next day or two and ill have a more defenitive answer
    hopefully level 10 wont make this difficult...

    Sub'd for future mod and information:

    Will a VB kit upgrade such as mentioned in this thread reduce the A750's transmission life span or increase wear rate? Negatively effect towing ability?

    I get the impression an IPT kit may be good for the transmission should a person not mind the firmer/faster shifts.

    Thanks - Yep, read through all of that. So, it's an improvement in transmission performance (shift crispness) and longevity by ultimately reducing clutch/friction plate wear I take it.

    Hmmm....I need to find another vehicle for a week to drive and a weekend to rub some ATF moisturizer on my skin.

    I doubt the dealer will install aftermarket parts , if anything they will replace your valve body with the latest model for a nice price too .
    Keep in mind that factory valve bodies are calibrated for the general public and that nice smooth shift . Smooth shifting is actually slipping which creates heat . Aisn Warner can build the valve bodies to shift crisper but i doubt grandpa is going to enjoy the drive .

    As far as installation , any aftermarket transmission shop can install the trans-go and Sonnax Zip kit .
    4 hours if the technician hasnt done one yet and 3 hours if he becomes a pro

    I will find out what the kits cost and post back .

    Couldnt find the price of the Sonnax kit . I beleive its not available to the general public yet so you have to purchase from a trans shop . I did find the instructions though and they look straight forward and come with a bunch of extra tips .
    I wouldnt even consider rebuilding a valve body without the use of these two kits period.
    If you have a higher mileage unit , consider installing them both to compensate for wear .

    One of these kits work with my supercharger? I really don't feel like not being able to drive my truck for a week or more so I'm looking for a kit that I can just take in to a transmission shop and have them do it.
