I just received a letter from Toyota Customer Support Program 24TE04 Notification to cover a small engine coolant leak from a specific valve and it is covered until Nov 2025 with secondary coverage for 10 years or 100,000 miles. Did anyone else get this letter? I think and correct me if I am wrong this is about the plastic pipe in the rear of the engine that is prone to leak. If this is the case Toyota finally is going to be responsible to fix or replace this pipe. Please let me know if this is what I interprweted from the letter.

A quick google search shows that does not apply to any model year Tacoma vehicle. I assume you own another Toyota vehicle?

They are offering to fix it, their cost and warranty. If you fear it is a scam, call Toyota dealer instead of the number given and the dealer will clear that up with no risk to you.

pretty big leap to assume a flow shutoff valve is the same as a coolant crossover pipe.
    but maybe. no info here.

I also own a 2019 Camry which I guess this applies to. Thanks for setting me straight, I guess I got a little excited before I checked into it. That is why I am a member here, there are smarter people here. Again Thanks

I got the letter today and since paid off my Tacoma last month at first thought they wanted to sell me something. Oddly, they didn't include a list of modes effected by the support program and the only way I knew it was for my wife's RAV4 was by the VIN. Until then I thought it was for the Tacoma crossover pipe.

Apparently this was the result of a class action suit started by a Tacoma owner.

The reason it was posted was the letter from Toyota did not designate the vehicles it covered. It was only after you looked into the TE24 number did it give you a list of vehicles covered and because my Tacoma was the newer vehicle I incorrectly thought it was the one involved.
