The same shit everyone else has.
Not a modification to the truck per say but something to use with the truck.

I do a lot of fly fishing and spend a good bit of time gearing up and down in the dark. This is perfect for those times since I can clamp it on to something and aim it and have a buncha light (and it supplements the bed lights well)

    2065DBE7-D40C-4053-8A8C-C5EB6C29791A_zps_b5f602b7b7aefbb3d984bde60e1f3deaf7ffef22.jpg

Clamp on 12v LED Spot light. Plugs into the 12v outlet in the bed cubby.

Spare LED pod, 3$ spring clamp, old junk extension cord, 12v plug from a broken car charger, and 3$ interrupter style inline switch.

I need to re-egingeer the way the light is attached to the clamp still to make it more adjustable.

Built a removable camping platform around 2 weeks ago, holds atleast 300lbs (me:205lbs, gf:90lbs). Put carpet padding (5/8') and outdoor carpet on it recently. In total, i spend under $250 on the entire project (including buying a chisel set and saw blades). Im not quite sure how much it weights, probably close to 200lbs fully assembled and closer to 300 when the storage compartment is fully loaded.

Its out of the truck right now, im going to stain and water proof it sometime this week.

Well known mod but frugal nonetheless. Ripped out the giant plastic "organizers" from behind the seat. Much more room and lost some weight. I splurged and bought a roll of shelf liner for the bottom for $1. :D

I've had these cheapo pedals forever. Finally came in useful after my clutch pedal pad disintegrated. I must say I like having these a lot better than stock.

    And stickers! They're cheap! :D

Also added some more cheapo LED lights to the interior and scored some projector headlights off CL.

This one is over the top cheezy but I hated not having my outside thermometer anymore. Picked up an indoor/outdoor one at Walmart for $10. Not pretty but it gets the job done. Also found a slick way to mount my radar detector by just removing the suction cups and sliding the bracket under the overhead console.

Thanks man! I added the rails, but I went back and forth on whether to just use the unistrut for those too but I opted for a name brand one on the off chance i want to go back to something else at a later point. I do plan on adding unistrut to the interior of the cap so i can attach things from the ceiling too.

I've had my maglight in the same place for about 5 years. Even under heavy braking situations it has not budged so far. No rattles from it moving around either.

You have be careful when you position it or else you can place it between the seat and center console. If you do that then the center console will become scratched over time.

Yea I had that too but put on silicon skin cover cause always dropping mine lol. The bottle pro was perfect . But me too clumsy lol....
I had to use the adapters that came with bottle pro cause of my big cup holder mod .Was loose because of the adapters so I just epoxied adapters together and was solid.
