    House O Speed (2 1/8" diam) shift knob. Chrome trim piece from mid 70's Olds - column shifter. Chrome piece just pulls off the column shifter handle and press fits to Tacoma shift shaft. A small piece of shrink tubing keeps it from sliding down the shaft

    Yes the clip is placed below the rods threads, yet the knob isn't what keeps the chrome/plastic piece in place, it is the retaining clip, as mentioned, that keeps it up.

    i used 5/16" clips, painted after only able to obtain them in black.

    Looks awesome! Only downside is i live in arizona, were it gets 110 degrees in the summer, so that shift knob would provide 3rd degree burns haha
    Im trying to find a cool knob that i like, i had an 8ball in my 4runner

    I just installed this guy. Yoda's light saber for my yota! I didn't wanna pay $70 for one on etsy so I made this out of a $16 kids flashlight. It was kind of a pain in the ass and came out a little crooked but I'm pretty happy with it. I've only had my truck for a month and a half so this is my first mod. Added so much horsepower...
