Waiting on my Kicker 660.5 amp, should be here Thursday but in the mean time let's see your mounted amps! Did you mount them on the back of the cab, under the seat where? Post 'em up..

I have a 2021 DBL Cab and I was thinking I would have to mount it in the drivers side cubby behind the back seat. Looking for inspiration....

    Too much.
Back of cab. I made a rack that utilizes the factory threaded screw locations (and added one as well)

Don’t know if your amp will fit, under the front seat is a nice spot for a 4 channel or small mono amp if they will fit.

Sub amp under the driver's seat, there's a ground bolt just under the vent tunnel there too...

Never has. I pulled the top covers off of the storage bin and it let's plenty of air get to it.

Sorry for all the questions but I plan on mounting my amp in there now!
Can you tell me a bit about what the amp is mounted on and the support underneath? Where did you bring in your power and inputs?

I initially had it mounted on some 1/2 inch birch plywood. I found some 3/4 black plastic that I swapped in it's place. It took a lot of time to get it cut to fit correctly. I wanted to make one solid piece for both amps, but I couldn't because of the height of the Pioneer amp. The power wire is ran through the firewall and under the carpet to the storage bin. There is enough room to run it under the plastic trim along the edge of the carpet. I drilled a hole for the ground wire to the middle seat belt anchor bolts.

1/8” ABS. In hindsight 1/4” would’ve been better (stiffer) but 1/8” works. Little bit of a learning curve to cut and bend it, but I’ve always used MDF and wanted to try something new.

You can look at epiman500's 2014 tacoma audio system in pic,s. That's where I got the idea for my amp placement. He did a fantastic job and there are tons of pictures of his install.

Where do you get ABS? Anywhere local or do you order it?

Amazon. I already had a couple things in the cart and tossed a sheet of ABS in.

Fair warning, if you cut it with a jigsaw like I did, keep your speed up or the friction from the blade will melt the damned cut shut right behind your blade. Little bit of a learning curve, and a lot of cleaning things up with a sanding drum on a dremel.

If you lift the carpet it's just in front of the hump where my wires enter in that pic.
