Holy crap, I have not seen Mark IV's in over 40 years, I had those and the Rossi's next to them. That picture just gives me smiles.

I keep it simple. Skis in the rack up top, apres beers in the bed fridge. I live right at the mouth of Little Cottonwood canyon so Alta/Snowbird is a 20 min drive up the road.

How is thread not going off the hook. Ski and snowboarding season is knock knock knockin on the door. Atleast it is here in the Cascades. Literally a blizzard all day today and its forcasted to keep coming for the foreseeable future. All of the resorts are looking to open before Thanksgiving for the first time since I can remember.

    not enough.
don't got a sweet setup. I just throw my touring setup into the bed and run into the mountains. We're supposed to get hammered tomorrow so...good backcountry skiing this weekend! But yeah, I have trouble fitting my skis into my short bed. :/ oh well.

I was thinking the same thing... I’m ITCHING to get up to the Sierras next week once we get a bit more snow. Might have to just send it out to WY or CO or up to OR where the good good is.

How do you like that SnailArmor? Does it have any slip resistance to it? My primary complaint over stock is the feet on my camp stove doesn't fit between the grooves, and it also slides around. Wondering if this would solve both problems?

I have Rhino Rack bars on the roof, and Yakima FatCat. It's a sweet setup from the standpoint of being fairly low profile, the FatCat with low pro mounting just slides into the track on the Rhino bars, so that's cool.

My complaint, Oregon uses cinder on the roads in the winter and it blows up over the top roof of the truck and collects on my bindings (snowboard). I didn't care too much for 2 seasons, but last year after I upgraded to nicer bindings I didn't want to deal with the mess. The downside of tossing my board in the bed is the snow it collects drips off then freezes in the bed, it's not the end of the world but it's less than ideal.

My next option I'm considering is getting the Rhino Rack mounted on the factory tonneau cover and putting the boards there to avoid the cinder, and easier load/unload.... or get a ski box and mount on the roof and/or the tonneau cover.

Going solo it's easy to load my board and gear bag in the bed w/ the tonneau cover... but if I'm bringing both kids it gets cramped fast with all their crap (ski's/poles/hard shell boots).

I'd def like to see more pictures of people's gear setups. I may end up getting a canopy cover as well. I do have a soft-topper but it's horrible for winter.
