All gens welcome to post here!

I have a stock paint job with no decals but today I saw this white 2nd gen with this really cool lower black stripe. It was probably a 1ft wide solid black stripe running the length of the bottom of truck. I know the 1st gens had some sort of black stripe like this as a factory option (I think) and those were so cool! Anyways I can’t find a pic on google anywhere and I’m hoping someone has this. It looked something like this poorly photoshopped image of my truck.

Let’s see those aftermarket paint jobs and decals! :woot:

I know at least one guy who put bedliner across the bottom of their Gen 2, including around the wheel arches.

OEM black lower stripe on Gen 1s? I don’t recall that...

Two tone was the word I was looking for! I remember seeing this style of colors for 1st gen Tacoma’s years ago. The color of the lower stripe would be different depending on the base color. But bedliner sounds like a good idea too, have any pics?

Color matched bed liner on bumpers, color matched wheels, and black center section on hood

I put 15 inch wide vinyl wrap along the bottom of my truck. It does a great job of preventing rock chips.3831186F-9055-4F3E-A3F2-5E22D2FA7213.jpgC232CA03-C3DD-4C68-86C9-AF0E955FBE52.jpg

Here’s a little better pic. Cost $230 for wrap and $120 for install, I have zero patience for shit like that.489E87B8-EB93-4C4C-854C-3D086737FA91.jpg489E87B8-EB93-4C4C-854C-3D086737FA91.jpg

Here's Tacodoc's old Tacoma (from ExPo over the years). Not my style, but probably quite functional.
