I have run Les Schwab tires for many years with great success in all kinds of conditions. In 2016 I put a set of Backcountrys, load range C, and when I sold my truck this year with 40k on those tires, I still had decent tread left. Also I hunted all over Montana from September till the end of November and was impressed with how those tires handled rock, snow and ice. I will say I don’t do any heavy mud conditions as that takes a different kind of tire. For all-around use I highly recommend their Backcountry tire.

Would think the biggest problem with LS is it's a regional tire store. If you don't live in the PNW of the US, then you probably have never heard of the company. Have bought a few sets from them in the past for other vehicles and love their customer service here in Southern Idaho.

In Idaho they do, usually beat me to my door before I have it open.

They charge a ton, the tires aren't all that great. I've been a LS customer for a long time until I needed specific tires, like Duratracs that they just can't compete with in terms or price, specs, and performance.

The Back Country SQ4 are made by Cooper and the Open Range A/T are made by Falken. So if you can get them cheaper than the main name brand tires i would say go for it.

I live near a bunch of Schwab stores and I will not use them anymore. Can't really say anything good about them anymore. 20 years ago they was a great company and a good place to work, but I don't believe that anymore.
Over priced tires. I'm not talking $10 to $20 more, but more like $50 to $80 or more per tire than discount, or any other tire shop in the area.
    They don't do appointments.
They take forever to do anything. You want your tires rotated, flat fixed, etc, and the store is empty. 2 to 3 hr wait.
Front desk Employees have a attitude
