Anyone else running these? Mine are 265/75r16 C load. 49.6lbs ride nice & quiet. Took them out Elk hunting. Did great on broken rock, slick mud & slow creeping. The dirt on the wheels 5464699A-6114-433C-B635-3D7F241AB6A9.jpg 64D31A08-5A77-4057-973F-D3DF65E7B2FB.jpg compliments the Quicksand nicely. They were pricey, but that’s Les Schwab

I picked up some P265/70/16...I like them so far, pretty aggressive looking and handle well.

How are the Mazama tires doing now that you guys have had them awhile? I'm intrigued by them since they are a load range c option of which is difficult to find.

Mine are P rated, but I like the tires well enough, haven't had any real weather yet to test the traction out and havent been off road yet...it's a good tire so far

Curious who actually makes this private label tire? And where?

They're a private label brand for les schwab, not sure if someone else makes them. I'm at les schwab now getting a rock puncture repaired and looking at them. They're made in Thailand.

Have over 1,000 miles on mine now. Good road manners. Have done well on rocks and in mud. With weather coming will find out how they do in snow and ice. Mine are C load.

Any noticible fuel economy change? I'm not quite ready to buy new tires yet maybe next year, please post back how you like them in the snow.

At first no. Now average about 1.5 mpg less, based on the trucks computer. Have not done any actual calculations. I knew mileage was going to be affected. A size larger and a different load rating comes with a price. Like the look and the ride. With the OME suspension on my truck I feel the overall ride is superior to stock. The speedo now more closely matches the computer speedo, with this size.

Les Schwab is calling these, "our new premium all terrain tire". Indeed they're the most expensive tire at Les Schwab. I'm a little leery of a new private label tire until I hear some reviews. Yours look really good though. Have you tried them in the snow yet?

I like that they're a c range option, but for the price it's hard to justify without many glowing reviews. I probably will end up with SL falken wildpeak AT3W due to so many good reviews.

They are made by Sumitomo. The Back Country line of tires are made by Cooper, as they bought out Dean. Currently going through the tire dance as I replaced my Duratracs with AT2 that I HATE. Looking at the Open Range but, $280 a tire for a 31.5" is just stupid.

Still haven't been in the snow with them. They do have the snowflake label on the sidewall. Plan on going into the hills this weekend for a xmas tree, should get into some snow. Snow is also forecasted for us next week. Can say their road manners are really good. Better than stock. Good grip in dirt, mud and the sharp rocks of Umtanum Ridge south of Ellensburg.

I have the Falken Wildpeak AT3/W in 285/75r17. These look like a cheap, ,yet overpriced ripoff. Why not just get the Falkens? They also have a 55k mi warranty.

No dealer near me. I live in a rural area of eastern Washington and most of the small towns have a Les Schwab dealer. They have great service and warranty, hence the higher price for their tires. They may "look" cheap to you, but so far I am pleased and I have had them in some difficult terrain. Will be trying them in snow this weekend.

Cool. The tread pattern, side wall, sipening, lug steps, are nearly identical to the AT3Ws. I have been very happy overall with these. Midwest winters, cross country trips, drove all over the rockies, Black Bear pass; in the rain!
I would imagine your open countries should be similar.

I looked at these in person yesterday at Les Schwab. It's a good looking tire and very aggressive compared to the Toyo AT2's.

Tires did fine yesterday. Drove mainly forest service roads around Cle Elum Lake that where packed snow and ice. Did not need to air down or switch into 4wd till it became steep. With all the electronic traction devices on my truck hard to break traction. Did turn off the traction control in 2wd and spun them, let off the gas and they bit real well. Also drove in about 6 inches of crusty snow and they did fine. Seems they deserve their snowflake rating.IMG_0386.jpg

Good to hear they're doing well in the snow. Your truck looks awesome. I really like that front bumper since it blends nicely with stock. What brand/model is that?

Thanks, Southern Style Offroad Slimline Hybrid bumper, bought through a group buy on this site. They have quite a few option choices. Well made and stout. We received about an inch of snow overnight. The tires did fine with snow on asphalt, no slippage. Did not need 4WD.
