I was hoping to get some feedback on here. I have a 17 tacoma and am looking to get it leveled. My local Les Schwab dealership is quoting me $300 for the level kit, install and alignment. So my two questions are has anyone had them do any suspension work and does that seem like a fair deal?

What do you have for a truck is the first question? And it sounds like a garbage spacer lift, you could do so much better. Contact @HeadStrong Off-Road for real lift options instead of Hockey Puck spacers.

Please don't put a 300.00 lift on a Brand New $30,000 + Truck. Do some research and at least start off with Bilstein 5100's and and AAL in back.

Nice. $35k truck in the hands of big box techs with a budget 'level lift' to 'correct' factory engineered rake.

As one Billy to another, please don't.

If you insist on a lift, at least call Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road, tell her your goals, and pick the right parts.

Honestly, save that $300 and put that towards a quality suspension setup. No leveling kits, no blocks

I spent $1400 @ Les Schwab just on 4 265 toyo mt, Got a flat and needed tires asap. Was my only choice. I agree they are expensive. But they have some decent warranty's with there work. I would still avoid cheap lifts at all cost no matter who installs it. Save up and get an OME BP-51 Or something similar, do it once, do it right.

Same boat, I don't believe in cheap lifts. For some people thats all they can afford. Me personally I'm saving up for a Fox level 3 kit.

Thanks for the advice everyone. After doing a bit of research I think I'm going to do the Bilstein 5100's and they're roughly the same price.

Reread the last line of post 5. Your research may be the right answer. Or not. Why not ask a pro?

The Hitachi shocks the Sport truck came with are shit... get 5100s all around it will ride pretty close to an OR... or if you want to lift add 885 springs and Icon progressive AAL's in the back with a driver side spacer up front will level and get rid of the taco lean... which you might not have now but will have after lifting.
