Has anyone had lift/wheels/tires done at Les Schwab? How was quality of labor and parts? How were prices relative to off road specialty shops? How was your experience overall?

    Thanks in advance

No, I get my tires at Discount Tire, and installed my lift myself. Meet some people and have a mod day- people here are more than willing to help out.

    Good luck!

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
If it's a lift save some money and go with what @PugetSoundTaco said and do it your self. Depending on the lift, these trucks are fairly straight forward. If your not really comfortable doing it yourself, see if guys are willing to help out. Most of the time at least one or two are and only require beer as a payment. As for Les Schwab, over the years I've had just about everything you could have done there done. I've had a lift, brakes, U-joints, anything to do with steering, alignment's, and tires all installed there, and for the most part they do good work. That being said, the quality of work though can vary widely form store to store. Some stores do good work and other stores not so much. For me, the store by my house does good work, but more and more I don't use them. Most of the work that they would do I now do myself. I've also found that Les-Schwab's tire prices are really high. There was almost a $500 dollar difference between them and Discount Tires for the exact same set of tires out the door. Also stay away form their brakes. Almost everyone I know who's had brakes done there have brakes that squeal. Hope this helps.

Good to know. I have contemplated doing a 1 inch levelling lift kit myself so if it can be done myself I'll give it a world. Also found out I get a discount at discount tire too so sounds like I'll research more with them

I’ve seen multiple ads on Craigslist with reduced prices because their wheels fell off due to lazy les Schwab techs but that could just be a local problem

had a lift put on a dodge about 10 years ago by les schwab . They forgot to put some misc brake line supports on one side of the truck...wouldn't have noticed if they didn't remember on the other side. Couple of days later felt something wrong on the free way pulled over and was about to loose a wheel cause the lugs had backed off. In hindsight, i should have done it myself. This was up in bellingham. i dont' go there anymore. I think they're in way to much of a hurry and things get overlooked. Discount tire will price match.
