Leer Camper Shell Badges

I've removed the free advertising Leer put on my camper shell and am now stuck with these little gray spots. I don't want to go to the effort or expense of repainting.

I've thought about cover the spots with a TRD something or another but due to it being a recessed spot on the shell, I don't think it would look right. Most of what I found is round.

I've kept the Leer badges and am thinking about painting them or plastidipping them black. They are gel like in texture. Looking for advice on how to paint them and adhesive to put them back on.

 

A custom badge of some sort would be cool. I thought the same w my Snugtop oval logos. Keep us updated.

 

I just wrapped over the logos with carbon fiber vynil. I dont have pictures right now though.

When I removed mine the paint was fine underneath. I just left the space empty. Custom sticker would be nice.

 

I attempted to wrap mine in black vinyl unsuccessfully but it’s definitely do able.

You could have probably left em on and just plastidipped em

 

Looks like it's just adhesive left. What have you used to try and clean it up?

 

It's definitely not adhesive. I've used goof-off so the adhesive is gone.
