The same shit everyone else has.
I noticed during the last rain that my new to me Leer 100XR leaks around the side window on the driver side. The rain comes in and puddles along the bottom edge right below the side window.

Ive already added seals underneath the plastic bed rail caps, so Im pretty confident its not coming in from there.

The water puddles on the inside ledge of the shell then runs down into the bed, so its definitely some part of the shell leaking, most likely around the window.

Ive spent a ton of time searching on how to remove the side windows and reseal them with zero luck. Everything I find shows people adding a bead of silicon along the outside edge of the window on the exterior which is SUPER ghetto and not the right way to fix this.

Id like to fix mine the right way and reseal the window without just adding a bead of silicon around the outside.

Are the side windows glued in? Or do the inside trim ring with the 30 some screws on each side hold the windows to the shell (or is this just a decorative cover)?

This is the closest similar thing I could find in the interwebs for a different brand shell.

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated before I dive into this blind.

Pretty sure you can get them out. They may be held in with some seal tape. They had one of mine out fixing leaks.

    Welp.

They come right out once you remove the 30 some screw that go around the inside frame piece. Just like shown in the video

I pulled both side windows out, cleaned the sealing surfaces, cleaned the gaskets, reinstalled them, and torqued down all the hardware.

Gonna hit it with the hose tomorrow and see what happens

So did that fix it or were new seals required? Same issue here.

What seal tape stuff did you use for the window frames & did it stop the leaks?

was there a rubber gasket covering the bolts on the inside? Mine has a rubber gasket and I'm not sure I want to try and pull it off if it's not supposed to come off that way.

Still searching youtube for side-window removal vids but not having any luck with my type of topper (jeraco)

Not sure how I missed all those questions.

I used rubber weatherstripping from the hardware store. It fixed the leak.

No rubber covering the inside on my Leer.
