Last week I had the misfortune of having the back of my 2008 wrecked by a commercial lawn mower falling off of a retaining wall and crashing into my truck. In addition to the tailgate and tail light damage, my cap is also being replaced.

Apparently it's cheaper to replace the cap than to get the replacement parts and install them.

If you have a Leer 100XQ (DC short bed) and are in need of parts for the back glass (lift pistons are toast) or need side window screens, you can have them for free, but you need to come pick them up. I'm not meeting anyone or doing any shipping.

I live in Westminster, MD. That's about 35 miles NW of Baltimore, MD.
