    Short answer, yes.
Long answer, still yes, but it doesn't mean you should. Check out the lighting section of this forum and familiarize yourself with each light you're planning to modify. LED's have been known to cause some weird issues, and aren't always the "best performing" light, even though they "look" the brightest.

I suggest changing the title of your thread with something that includes the term “LED lights”. The year of your Tacoma isn’t important.

Wouldn't do headlights, they don't work well in housing made for non led bulbs. I really like my VLED reverse and rear brake lights though, super bright reverse lights are very useful.

Are there better options for brighter lights?

Do you want bright, or do you want effective? Read up a little before spending money. Doesn't mean you can't still go LED, just determine what your goal is. If you want to see better/more performance, read up in the thread linked above. If you want a different color shade, and to blind all oncoming traffic, consider LED replacement bulbs. If you want to do it right, find housings that are made for LED's, and then use LED's.

okay so if i want to do it the right way the best route is to buy the housings and install. Otherwise I will have issues correct? As in “weird issued”

You've asked a really vague question, so you're getting really vague answers. For best performance, you should use the bulb type your headlight housings were created for. It doesn't mean you can't use other type bulbs, but you won't gain in performance, only color, scattered beam patterns, and really inconsistent results. No one can say whether you'll encounter LED gremlins or not, but just note, many people do report strange electrical issues that are traced back to LED's. It doesn't mean you can't use them, but its a risk you run. Again, determine what it is you're truly after, and do some research. Its not always as simple as plug and play; sometimes you need adapters, extra wiring, etc. Read up on the lighting threads, gather some options, and then post back with some specifics; otherwise we're all just giving vague generalizations.

After review of that thread it seems like the phillips H9 and H11 bulbs are the best halogen bulbs available performance wise. Would you agree with that?

Sorry for the vagueness. This is is my first time on here and I’m new to all this. I appreciate the information! Upon reading the article would your agree the phillips halogen lights are the best option if i do not want to change the assembly?

I don't know what type of assemblies you have, so I can't answer that for you. There's an overload of info on this site, although you may have to dig for it. My suggestion is to research as much as you can (for days/months) and exploring different options. Nothing worse than getting excited for mods only to find out there were "better" options out there shortly after installing your mods. Stick around, ask questions, welcome to the site.

If I was staying halogen, I would go H9. That is what I used in my wife’s Jeep with H11 bulbs.

I wanted the best lighting option available and went with OEM 2020+ LED lamps, but the cost is orders of magnitude higher.

If I wasn’t going with new assemblies I’d go H9 and be done with it.
