    Hello Everyone,

I wanted to share some parts I have been in the process of designing. These will be fore all 2nd Gen Tacoma's. I only have pictures of my testing on some 05-11's right now, but I am in the process of finalizing testing on the 12-15 lower grill right now and will have pictures after Thanksgiving. I did do a test fit on a 12+ the other day of a Stealth style and it will be great!

These mounts are designed for LED light bars that have a mounting width of 32". Some people call these 30" bars (Rigid), some 32" bars (Amazon/Ebay), or 31.5" bars (Cali Raised). Either way it is a mounting width of 32" and with the use of a small spacer or washer, just about any of these will fit.

I have designed these to be 100% bolt on mounts. You don't have to drill any holes in your frame or do any real modification. The Stealth style is like it sounds, it places the light bar behind the lower grill and is truly 100% bolt on. The Flush style is very similar, but is designed to replace the lower grill and sit almost flush with the bumper. So you will have to cut out your lower grill, which is rather low threat anyways.

These will be made from 3/16" mild steel plate so that they are super strong and don't vibrate like others do. They are gusseted and are all 100% laser cut so you get perfect edges and cut out. The mounting holes are slotted for adjustment and they bolt to the existing bumper mounts. They will come powder coated black (not sure what finish yet) and will include free shipping all for $100 a pair!!!! I am a dealer for Cali Raised LED (which is the exact light these are designed off of) and will be offering a combo price if you buy the mount and LED light from me. Pricing for that TBD, I will have that posted when these are ready purchase.

Please feel free to ask questions and let me know what you think. I am proud of these! I have been making them for 4th Gen 4Runners and have had great success with this design. I am very happy to add 2nd Gen Tacoma's to my list.

I have seen that method done. It is cheaper, but requires drilling into the aluminum bumper or other parts of the bumper structure. The mounts I am working on are 100% bolt on and in my opinion are stronger because the way they are mounted and designed.

But I will not try and take away from the DIY crowd. If you can do it that way, very cool. I just wanted to offer something more refined that offers a more deliberate method of mounting.

It looks like a great design and I know a lot of people will be interested in those if the price is reasonable.

I plan on installing a lower bumper led bar at some point. I've seen a few competitors products similar to this. Your looks like a higher quality product (just based on pictures). I like the idea of not having to drill into the crash bar (or some other part of the bumper). Your price is higher then the competitors. I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for", but I can't help but wonder what a non powder coated version would cost?

I may need someone to test my Flush style mounts on a 12+ grill. I will give you a free mount, but not LED bar haha. I have someone local who is considering it. If he doesn't want to and you do, I will set you up.

You have the same thoughts as I do. I used 3/16 thick plate, others use thinner material. I also do a welded bracket with a gusset while others use a bent up piece. The design I use that is welded with a gusset combined with the thicker material makes for a much stronger mount that is not going to bounce or vibrate like others might. Also, nobody offers a Stealth style mount that I am aware of, all I have seen is the Flush style ones.

Ultimately I am just a guy, a real Tacoma owner who is trying to make something for our community. The other shops are bigger, have much fancier shops and can do things to make these a little cheaper. Mine is a small business and is 100% USA designed, cut, built and powder coated. I think that can be worth a couple more bucks too.

If you want an unpainted one, it would be $15 less.

When I move back to CA I think I am just going to move the top bolts to the bottom holes on the bumper. Then put a little bend/tweak in the plate so it follows the bumper better and then run it. Most cops are just happy you have something... We all have our risks we are willing to take though...

I am going to look into making some form of a relocation bracket but I haven't come up with any good idea yet...

I like the idea and got all excited but then realized I have a front plate. Ideas? Two 10" lights? One 32 with the center not working?
