this one's pretty good. The hardest part is removing those fender flares

Those are nice. Dumb question, do the new lights need leveled/adjusted? Wasn’t mentioned in the video.

If u are not confident in the install have the dealer install them . U payed alot of money for the lights and the truck is new . It’s not a simple bulb swap .my 2 cents best of luck if u decide to install yourself .

It’s just some clips. You don’t have to remove the whole fender flare…Just enough to get a wrench in there…

Chloe’s YT vid is what i used. shove your hand under the wheel liner to assist removing the first 2 clips holding the fender flare. Dont just pop them out. They stretch out or break easily and then wont sit flush when re-installing.

Not hard. I take off everything verse trying to fit and yank and break a bracket.
Take your time, I YouTube all. Probably took the raptor lights on and off so many times it’s almost like second nature.

Blue/Frog tape the living crap on all the headlight lenses before removal and installation!
Face the truck southernly so the plastics are warmer and that makes te job easier.
Keep all the boxes and packaging.

FWIW I installed a set of OEM Toyota headlight assemblies in my friend's 2nd Gen Tacoma and there was no need to re-aim them.

Would the dealer do the install since you need to use an aftermarket wiring harness?

@AZPhys13 yeah I was thinking that too, I don’t think they would. I’m just gonna attempt the install myself.

Yep, I used Chloe's video as well and definitely agree that the first two clips holding the flare are the only part of the install you really need to watch out for, the rest is very straightforward.

Just take your time on the flares. It took me a couple of hours on a Friday night and the upgrade is worth it
