Anyone know where I can get these insulator pads for the leaf springs? Mine are toast (gone) and squeaking like no tomorrow.

    Spacer Kit

The kit includes the round discs.

Check to make sure that it isn't the ones on the side inside the u shsped bracket. Opposite side of the leafspring where your hand is.

    Thanks!

That's a picture I got from the web. The insulator pads on mine are DEFINITELY gone!
I've talked with two different Toyota parts places that couldn't offer a factory part. Not worth their time probably.

Sorry, I recognize this is an old thread.

Can anyone tell me if this kit includes multiple spacers, and it so, if it services both sets of leaf springs?

I just talked with a dealer that told me it’s for one spacer. I’m sure that can’t be correct, I’m pretty certain I could replace new leaf springs for less if that’s the case.

I'll have to check. But I'm pretty sure each kit contained 4 spacers .

Thanks Rick. Sounds like I need to grab a couple packs. My spacers are toast on both sides. I’ll accept that for 185k miles!

I apologize for hopping on an old thread but the service shop I took my 2013 to said that I'd have to replace the whole leaf spring and they don't do maintenance on the pads/insulators, dealership said the same. Were you able to get those spacer/insulators installed on your own or did you take it to a repair shop?

I did them on my own
I jacked up the truck so that the rear wheels hung loose with the leafsprings uncompressed.

I used a couple of pry bars to pry the springs apart and placed a 3/4 to 1 inch metal bar between the leaf springs to keep the springs apart while I removed the rubber spacer and to install the new ones. Don't want the leaf springs to come together on your fingers!!
I did this at pad location. The pads have a tab in the centre of them that go into a corresponding hole in the springs.

Took me in total about an hour.

I had a couple that were worn right to nothing, and a few others that were paper thin. The others were worn to about 1/4 thickness of the new ones.

My springs haven't squeaked at all since.

Thanks! mine is gone where the above picture indicates, seems like a simple replacement as you described. I can't bring myself to spend $1k on a whole new leaf spring when i just need that spacer/insulator.

I don't blame you. I wouldn't want to spend $1k unless I absolutely had too either.

Let me know how it works out

Its so screwy how they'll R & R the leafsprings, but not replace the spacers???
