Does anyone know of a vendor or other distributor that offers an OME lift kit similar to the package sold by Toytec as part of a layaway plan?

    Just ask the vendors.

I thought layaways faded out in the late 70's? Haven't heard that term in years.

Outside of big box stores I haven't either. But never hurts to ask. There's always a personal layaway plan of putting cash away in a jar or bank account and not touching it.

Doesn't layaway work the exact way as saving? You get the product the day you come up with all the money?

I don't really either, I guess it's helpful for people who can't hold onto their cash without spending it on something.

Visa and Mastercard do among a few others. They offer 30 days to pay for it before they start charging you a layaway fee. :D

    HERE YOU GO!!!

    https://www.rebeloffroad.com/Articles.asp?ID=485

Rebel Off Road's new layaway plans make it easier to get the parts you want. Let's say you see something you'd really like to buy. Maybe it's a hot new product that's selling out fast wherever it appears. Or maybe it's just the thing you've always wanted at a price that's too good to pass up. But let's also say that, for whatever reason, now is not a great time for you to make the purchase.

That's where the Rebel Off Road Layaway plan comes in. The Rebel Off Road Layaway plan lets you set aside the items you want at their current price and then pay for them over time in installments that work for your budget. All you need to do is open a layaway account with a sales team member and make a down payment of 30% of the item price. Then you just pay as you go and before you know it, voila!, your new purchase is yours.

The Rebel Off Road Layaway plan is a terrific way to save on the products you want.

For more information or to sign up - contact us:
    Phone: toll free 866-900-8841
    Email: info@rebeloffroad.com

    The Rules:
Terms - Final Payment must be made within 90 days of initial deposit.
Cancellation - If account in cancelled, items will be returned to inventory. A 25% non negotiable restocking fee applies. Custom or special order items (one off, custom design, embroidery, etc) cannot be canceled. Down payment and payments will be refunded less restocking fee.
Returns - Rebel Off Road Returns Policy applies to all layaway transactions.

Some restrictions apply, call for complete details.

I am sure he can get OME Lifts.... Not sure why you want to layaway parts, but hey to each their own.... The only benefit I can see to this is if an item is on sale and you want to lock in the sale price when you don't have the money to buy the part and you do not want to incur any debt.

Your best bet is to save the money up and pay for it in full when you buy it. OME setups aren't going away and you can also ask for the TW discount or see if the code is on TW when purchasing it to save some from a vendor on here.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
I have a complete OME886/Deaver/LR suspension for sale. Has some miles on it, but still in great shape. Rear shocks still on the truck, will be off soon. UCAs have new grease, boots.

    Cheaper than buying new......

(Haven't posted it in the BST yet, due to the shocks still on the truck. Once they're off, ad goes up).

Probably because they're broke and now need the money they put down on that TV.

I never got the concept of layaway.... Order it when you have the $$ ready.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it "stupid". Some folks don't have the will power to be able to save money themselves. By placing something on layaway, they are more committed.
