I will be stopping in Vegas for one night and I will have a 26ft Uhaul with a car trailer.

I wanted to stay at one of the big hotels but two of them said they cant park the truck there.

Where the heck do I stay ? Do I go out of the city to a small motel ?

If you are dead set on staying on the strip a lot o the hotels only have parking garages. That is probably why they said you couldn't stay there. Off the top of my head Luxor, Ballys and the Exacaliber have parking lots. Be aware u hauls are commonly stolen from those parking lots. If you want to stay at a nice place but off the strip I would suggest Green Valley Ranch. Red Rock Station or Aliante. All of those also have parking lots to park something that big. If I remember correctly Red Rock even has oversized valet parking. Or you might want to try the South Point. It is a hotel that specializes in equestrian events so plenty of oversized parking as well. Have fun and try to stimulate our economy a little while your here

You could also try Sunset Station.

It really depends what side of town u want to stay on. Traffic can be pretty bad at certain times so I would try to avoid it if possible. Which direction are u headed through

i'm heading north on the 15 from LA, headed to montana.

i guess i'll have to stay off the strip at a smaller hotel. i really wanted to stay at someplace big and go to the pool and gamble for a day.

plus, i am really worried about my uhaul being stolen or broken into. i have EVERYTHING i own in there

That's a short trip from LA to LV. You could make it way into Utah in a good days drive. I would recommend staying at Aliante. It is still a big hotel/ casino with plenty of gambling and a big pool. Its easy to find right off the 215 and Aliante parkway. It's on the north side of town so you won't have to deal with too much traffic depending on what time of day you are driving through. I would recommend staying off the 15 between 3-7pm if you can avoid it

I'd recommend getting into driving into utah. Its a much safer bet with your Uhaul to leave it parked overnight in a podunk utah town. exponentially less risk of theft.

You can stay at the mandalay bay they have plenty of parking for vehicles hauling toyhaulers, trailers, and semis. The parking lot is right there on Russell and Las Vegas Blvd

Ground level and security patrols it pretty often
