Largest tire size for 2000 SR5 stock?

I am trying to find out what the largest tire size that can fit on my 2000 Tacoma SR5 it’s a six lug . It currently has 235/75 R15s on it The specs show that it should only hold 225but it came with a spare that was 265/75 R15. I’m pretty sure everything stock. Wheel size shown on the door is 225/75 R15...
any thoughts?

 

I'm in the same boat as you are. Did you find anything out?

 

I had 31x10.5x15 on my stock 1999 and only had minor rubbing on the bumper. Just a slight bit of trimming to the bumper would have solved it.

My shocks were also blown out so more than likely it wouldn't have rubbed like it was. Hope this helps.
