So I found out the ladder for my Smittybilt overlander rtt isnt even rated for my weight. Is there an upgraded version for it? Are there other ladders that would work for this tent that have a higher weight rating? Would one of those telescoping ones work well?

I bought a telescoping ladder for my RTT, I weigh in at just under 300 and my ladder is rated at 150 kg (336lbs). Brand is Ohuhu.

What RTT do you have? Did it hook up without a problem? Lastly, have you camped in sand?

I have a Free Spirit A55, my ladder doesn’t match the mount on my RTT so I just use a couple of straps to secure it. Never camped in sand.
