Has anyone installed a ladder rack on a 2nd gen Tacoma by drilling into bed rails? Haven’t found any YouTube videos on this process, let me know any ideas. Thanks

Do they not come with instructions?

I've had my rail caps off and it strikes me the rail would benefit from reinforcement of some type

I’ve had one on since day 1. Bolted down to the luggage rails, not the bed rail. I cut the plastic rail cap to accommodate the rack.IMG_0074.jpg IMG_0075.jpg

I think it depends on the rack design. Mine is a one-piece welded rack
