Anybody running these on a 3rd Gen? Found lots of 2nd Gens. Are they the same size as stock OR rims? I want to still be able to fit 255/85/16 Coopers.

I have a Barcelona Red and can't decide on the black or gunmetal. Leaning gunmetal. Pics are appreciated.

Looks much better than expected. Are there some black ones in the thread where you found this?

Don't know! I just searched the site for "konig" and that was one of the first results.

I was also torn between the black Gunmetal. I do like the Gunmetal a lot it's actually a pretty close match to the interior bezels if you have the TRD OR and also matches the Toyota lettering on the pro grill which I wasn't expecting. My truck is inferno (the pics linked above) but I used to have black rims on my 05 Barcelona red and either way you go it's gunna look great. I ended up going with the Gunmetal because he didn't have the black in stock in the size I wanted.

I do kinda wish I had gone with the 0 offset rather than -20 as I think it would still look really good but I'd probably have had less chopping to do to fit them.

The gunmetal is glossy and not flat paint which I kind of wish it was more flat/matte. If you're looking to get them now you should see what's in stock because I don't think the keep a huge amount of inventory so you may be limited by that.

The center caps and lugs are also going to be black so keep that in mind

Very helpful! I'm thinking the gunmetal is the way to go to get a little pop out of the wheels. But maybe I don't want pop with pizza cutters.. :annoyed:

Does the glossy polish still look good though wear and tear from off roading?

Haha ya I hear ya, I really like the matte black look but they do kinda disappear.

I've only had them on for about 3 weeks so I'm not sure how the finish will hold up, that was my biggest concerns when I saw them especially because with matte black you can atleast hit them with some rattle can and you usually won't be able to tell. If I mess these up I dk how I'll touch them up. They are quite deep so I imagine it will just be the lip that could get dinged up and I'm on 285/75r16s so they're fairly wide and will hopefully offer some protection to the lip.

I figured if they don't hold up or get really dinged Ill just powder coat them matte black when I do a tire change in the future.

I have some bronze Countersteers that I took off my old Tundra. The wheels are old with a lot of miles so the finish is pretty bad on them. I've always wanted some nice center caps for them since the chrome ones they come with are absolutely terrible looking. Where did you get the center caps at?

Little bit of a thread revival but can anyone confirm fitment of the type x with 255/80/17 on stock lift? They are 17x8 -10 offset 4.1 backspace.

Tires seem to be easier to find in this size and thus cheaper. Also like the flushness of the center cap.

When I was doing tire research, I read multiple threads stating that 255/80 was too tall of a tire for stock suspension. You will rub. I went with a 265/70/17 and I have a temporary 2" block lift.
