Does anybody know the number moulded into the connector? Seems the dealer always asks for it when attempting to buy repair wires for a connector.

It looks like 90980–11875 to me.

    Does it look like this?

That is the number for the plastic housing part.

The wires inside are not part of that part number. Looks like the 500mm long repair pigtail shows 82998-12790 but lists 82998-24420 as alternate. The 82998-24420 is a low insertion force so that's probably what you should use.

That looks like a sub-harness. It would have 3 connectors, one for each sensor and the third connects to the vehicle harness. That would get everything he needs, too. It appears to go for about $20 and that's going to be cheaper than buying all the individual parts.

    BTW, it substitutes to 82219-0C010.

The one housing alone is about $8 online and each repair wire is $16.60. So quite a bit cheaper.

    Thanks guys. You're awesome!

    Edit:
@DaveInDenver not actually in Denver, lol. Sorry, i skimmed and missed your question. I don't know what the connector looks like as i haven't taken it apart yet. I've been reading the relevant threads but didn't see any part numbers for what i was looking for. Trying to get everything i need first before i rip it apart.
    Thanks again.

I'm 99% sure of the individual part numbers, the photo of the harness sure looks like the plugs match the diagram.

It might be cost effective to just replace a single broken housing but beyond that (particularly if you factor in your time and headache) the complete harness is hard to beat.

I was just hoping to repair the harness versus replacing it. I'm not really expecting the connector itself to be an issue, just the wires.

Each repair pigtail is $16.60 (At least 2 needed) (4 if the mouse chomped both knock sensor connectors) and the complete Y harness is $20, and you want to repair your harness?

@Muddinfun thanks for beating that point down on top of my head... My local dealer just quoted me $28.07 for the harness.

Now, let's hope i can replace it without ripping the whole top of the motor off.

Soooooo, my better half is working and the weather is decent, why not get this done and out of the way, I say to myself...
Not knowing what I'm doing, I am looking at the crossover tubes in about an hour and a half. I'm looking and laughing at what i got myself into and find the knock sensors. Dafuq is that? Bwahahahahahahaha. They're nestled in there. I'm not laughing so much anymore.
However, it doesn't appear that the wiring had been gnawed on from what i can see. I don't have one of those instructions cameras....yet. Ratcheting box wrenches, as mentioned in another thread, look too be the tool of choice if this is too be done without removing the crossover tubes.
Nobody has the knock sensor locally. Being my daily driver, it's gotta go back together.
I knew this project was gonna be just that...
