King reservoir 90° fitting and hose replacement

So it has come to my attention that King no longer makes the standard reservoir hose with 1/2 mail fittings.
Is there any reason this hydraulic hose from tractor supply wouldn't work.

This will work just fine or you can go to a hydraulic hose store & they can build you custom lengths.

 

Got my hoses today and they a perfect. Next question can I use a black pipe 90° fitting on the reservoir or do I need the a special fitting made out of a different mental?
