Thanks. The grill color doesn't match whatsoever but its not visible, it's functional.

Wow, that's a great fit. Shame they couldn't squeeze the 10" version.

I’m running the loaded CompRT 12” they make, and even with the bin completely removed and the plastic off the seat back, there are millimeters between the woofer surround and the seat. The 10” L7T is a few centimeters deeper so I’m very confident it would rub the surround. Stinks, but what can you do :annoyed:

I thought it would be close, I didn't expect that close! Thanks for filling in the blanks, I have a feeling this thread will show up often, for those who dare to search.

    What’s in that cross brace?

do you think can part of it be cut out so an L7T would fit?

Yes I know the child seat anchors are there, but if there is nothing behind it, cutting 22” out might net enough room for a single shallow enclosure.

I would not chop out 22” of anything. Vehicle manufacturers don’t just put useless metal in a car because that cost them money. If it’s there, it’s on purpose. Don’t risk degrading the structural integrity of the vehicle just to add a bigger sub. Either have a custom box built, or buy a tundra

I take it more as structural bracing as mentioned above....I would not do it either.

Ok other than buying a Tundra or a custom box, which of the 2 options will sound best?

    L7T8”
    or
    CompRT10”

Ok I get it, “that McCrackin fool is a PITA with all his dumb questions!”

I have been in contact with marv, only a 10” L7T in a ported enclosure will fit, not enough cubic feet for a 12”. Plus it would eat up the entire area behind the back seat with no room for an amp.
You guys were right, Should bought a 4Runner or a Tundra!

might get marv to build a single sealed 10” L7T with amp rack.

dang it, just saw a local guy selling a 12” CompRT for reasonable price.

I am looking for an aftermarket receiver for my 2014. I am looking to install subwoofer in the back and replacing all factory speakers with amps for everything. Can anyone suggest a really good receiver. One that is not too pricey but decent.
