2018 DCSB off road non jbl. I bought a pair of 43DSC69304 and a pair of 43CSC674. I got the front door off no problem and took the factory speaker out . I tried to install the speaker on the metra mount but couldnt get the holes to line up on the speaker and the mount. mounts are metra 82-8146 and 82-8148 . Anyone else run into this issue?

I should also add that neither the bolts from the metra nor the screws from the speakers seem to be able to fasten the speaker to the mount. The screws are too small and the bolts too big .

    TIA

I had the same problem. I had to drill additional holes in the metra haarnessand use different bolts and screws. Make sure to use a bolt orscrew that self let locks or else loctite. There I'll be vibrations both from the speaker and the car

My understanding is that it's really only the kickers that cause problems with the mount.

This is a problem with pretty much all Metra speaker brackets. The mounting holes are way too wide for normal screws.

My tip is to spin the speaker just enough to get the speaker holes over plastic and put the screw there. Fresh hole, good grip.
