Mother fuckers. Get to the shop and he's like we can only put what's on it on it. Can't do 3/16 or 1/4" without changing the yokes and such. Goddam. Why does everything have to be such a pita. So he's gonna get it apart and get me prices and I'm probably gonna take it to a guy that can do thicker wall

Ok guy was just being lazy. Going with 3/16 needs a new yoke should be around 250$ when done. He has to machine the tube and yoke to make it work

Maybe we should see if we can find someone willing to give us a group rate on some shafts. Seems like the spare shaft mod will be the next thing I will be doing.

Find out the # for Ant's guy please Hunter. I will also look into the guy in Fairfiled, NJ. I used a place in upstate NY years ago for my CJ. And there is always Tom Wood, he is an awesome driveshaft guy. He did a front shaft for my CJ as well as steering shaft(used small ujoints and a spline shaft in lieu of rag joint and riveted joint like the stocker.

I am surprised that none of us other than David had shaft damage from Saturday's Rausch run. Then seeing Dan's damage from Tennessee really has me paranoid.

Yes. I'm paranoid as well. So we need driveshafts AND CV axles.

Dan @M192 and David @fatfurious2 are badass off road cowboys and were destined to destroy their driveshafts sooner rather than later.

We, on the other are off road pu$$y's and are destined to destroy our driveshafts later rather than sooner.

Best be prepared. My truck is a DD. Can't risk the downtime.

My new DS only has 1 zerk.. The joints are spicer, but i guess non greasable. I havent had any issues. Will test on this 1200 mile road trip this weekend. PA roads suck. I get a bucking feeling to and from Rausch, and when I went to buy a dirtbike from up there. Not sure what the deal is..

I still haven't gotten the oem one retubed. The place near me said stock tubing was $400 and heavy duty would be close to 600.

PA coal country roads are the worst in the state.
