Does anyone have any problems with the range with the key fob, i have to be less than 15 feet to be able to lock or unlock my truck. Any suggestion on how to fix it? Ive already tried switching out for a fresh battery but no luck. Thanks!

I seem to have the exact same problem. I don’t have an issue with my wife’s NX, parked in the same place and I am at the same distance. I have tinted windows on both vehicles, but this was happening even before I tinted the truck. I changed batteries but same thing. Only thing I didn’t try was using the spare smart key. I am looking for a solution also. I don’t think it’s a distance issue cause I could be standing next to the driver side rear door and sometimes I have to push the unlock button several times before the doors unlock. I have it set up to unlock all doors with 1 push of the remote unlock.

I second under your chin- if you are looking directly towards your truck, it more than triples the range, no kidding!

It would normally help with my other vehicles, but doesn’t for this instance.

You're not alone, same issue. I literally have to be best the antenna and within 10' for the truck to arm or disarm. Truly annoying when it's raining etc and you want to have the truck ready

My truck sits about 40 ft away from my house and the FOB works great.

I'm thinking some trucks have their antenna all wanky that it limits its range

The antennae is mounted behind the drivers a pillar near the top, there is a few threads where they tried to increase the range.

Often a weak battery in the fob reduces range. At the dealership when there is more than one person clicking their remotes at the same time, none seem to work.
There are instances in some locations where there is reduced or next to no reception due to outside influences/frequencies. I even caught a news broadcast once reporting that people were complaining about this issue in certain locations..
