LOL.. Me either until I bought a Lexus with one last year. It's well known among Lexus owners that their car audio is garbage. They dropped the ball on this one.

I have cars that are 20+ year old with Bose systems that still work fine. Anyway, it will be gone soon.

For the people who have used the gauges feature, does it have a hookup to the ODBII outlet. I have Scanguage II setup with XGuage features. I have a bit of trouble (distraction) cycling through all of the code displays while driving. It would be nice to have gauges displayed on the head unit.

Mine will be installed on July 2nd. So I'll know more about it then.

I have the DMX1057XR. It also has the gauges and, yes, it uses the ODB outlet.

Nice! Thanks for the quick reply. I may hook it up and only use the Scanguage for situations where I need to look at fuel trim or some special xGuage. Basically adhoc situations.

Side question, I'm installing the unit in a truck that is primarily used for off-roading. I'm kind of excited about the prospect of the 4 camera capability.

I know I would like to have one camera for the rear. Then one for the front. I'm curious about where to mount the other two cameras.

Has anyone tried to record a video using the front camera?

I'm getting into recording trails and posting maps on GAIA GPS. It would be cool to record a trail or parts of a trail where I could upload it to a site like Trails Off-Road.

Mine also has the gauges but does not hook up directly to the OBD2 port. It pulls the info from the harness that's already behind the existing radio.

Are any of you using the Kenwood - DRV-N520 Dash Cam?

I guess since I started this thread I should reply to let you know that, yes, the DMX907S gets gauge info by plugging into the OBD2 port.

The reviews are not great for the camera. Most of the negativity stems from its performance with traffic/lane alerts. Despite that, I am still tempted to get one, as it really does integrate nicely into the headunit.

+1 for ease of integration. I went ahead and ordered one for the dash.

I'm thinking about ordering a couple of Summitview rock cameras for the winch location or under the bumper to act as a spotter cam. Or something like the Summitview to use the other two camera ports.
