When all else fails, perform a master reset. The idatalink forums advised me to perform a master reset and that fixed it. I was afraid to do it initially as I thought it might require me to reflash the module; however, that isn't the case. At some point when I rip the dash back apart for something, like replacing the kenwood mic with a cleaner solution, I'm going to hook up a USB to the Maestro and leave it accessible for future flashing.

You can retain your factory mic or drop in a replacement into the factory location.

The mic? I'm running a kenwood dnx875s and placed the mic in the factory location and it sounds perfect according to my callers. I had it clipped to the headliner above the rear view mirror but wanted a factory look.

Ground the parking braking wire either black wire off the radio harness. Simple.

I get "non supported device" error a lot when connecting my phone for android auto. Sometimes i have to plug and unplug it a bunch of times and it will eventually connect. Phone cord is new a good quality. Anyone else have similar issue?

That's impressive I am getting the Kenwood DDX 5707S mine is not as expensive as yours but coming from the stock am/fm I have now it should be great, my concern is the fit I like a clean factory look how do you feel about your fit and finish?

Fit and finish are great. I really think the biggest value is DVD player for the passenger and guages to keep an eye on vitals during long trips
