KC Hilites Cyclone Rock Lights Installed on 3rd Gen Tacoma

I installed my KC Hilites Cyclone 6-LED kit on my 3rd gen Tacoma with Switch Pros setup. It's got the perfect amount of brightness where it's not creating hotspots on the ground, but nice even dispersed lighting. I think I'll even use these as camp lights when I go on trips. The hookup was pretty easy. Modified the harness a little bit to work with my Blue Seas tray. I was worried the light distribution would be uneven, but it came out really nice. I found some nice install points. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to symmetry and even-ness. I'm gonna throw in some referral links in here. Appreciate it if this was helpful to you and you want to buy me a beer.

 

Nice! The KC Cyclones were tested to be the highest performing rock light here, with the best lights distribution. Same ones I plan to run on my truck.

 

Here's the cyclones on mine. I went with placing them in the wheel wells and in the center of the cab.

 

Looks awesome, I'm rigging something up (not the brake light below).

Anyone know where I could get these black plastic inserts for the middle of the KC Cyclones?

Barely half an amp per light and you have 10A per light on the fuse block distribution...WTF?

 

Awesome! I'm looking to install a similar/identical setup to you and curious how you mounted the rear and front Cyclones?

I did 8 Cyclone lights under my truck, one in each wheel well and one under each door. Have them wired up to come on when I unlock the truck. I can have just the wheel wheel lights come on, or just the under the door lights come on or all 8. Also I can turn them on with the truck off and doors are either locked or unlocked.

 

Looks very good. About to pull the trigger on these ans hook to my Switch Pro
