I purchased the 2019 Basic Basic Toyota Tacoma SR 4 Cyl 4x2 MSRP for about $25.5K Plus some accessories keyless entry and etc...
It has only 9000 Miles but when I check the KBB Trade-in value it comes out to $28K for excellent conditions and $27.5 for Very Good conditions.
If I decide to trade-in to different trim, Is the dealer really gives KBB trade-in value which is more than the original MSRP?

also, it is very hard to find any SR trim in this region almost impossible.
Some dealer listing used 2019 SR truck for $36K.
Trim that I like estimate arrival time in July, I am not sure this Used KBB value still high in this summer.

Welcome to the forum. Check out carvana for a actual trade offer, I suspect it will be higher than the dealership offer.

Yep check Carvana. Used vehicle values are way up now because of chip shortages on new vehicles. Not uncommon to be able to sell a year or 2 old vehicle for more than you bought it for right now!

Next issue try to buy anything else without getting nailed on price. Cars, trucks, houses are absolutely insane at this time
